A note on the design
Victoria Wynne-Jones, one of the three volunteer curators at Window, University of Auckland, invited me to be *guest designer* (aka *do anything you like*) for the June show, featuring artists Hannah Valentine and Joshua David. My approach initially was to explore the typographic game of ONSITE / ONLINE — but, for some reason, I was pulled towards the two artists’s names, setting aside the play on letters. I didn’t let on about the original version until after the show opened. The curators were really taken by it (two for one) and so decided to save it for August, giving space to July’s ONSITE Doghaus (Dog Park Art Space Project) and ONLINE Menlow Park Cowboys.
In the June version, the two N’s in HANNAH form a kind of ligature, displacing the symmetry and rhythm somewhat, making it a little tough. Both designs make use of a pink string-line that marks out the two parties and the two spaces.

Contemporary art and project space, Window, exists in two states: in its physical location in The University of Auckland’s General Library Foyer, and in the dedicated Online space which runs a complementary programme. Hosting shows that are both internally curated and generated by our collaborators, Window aims to showcase a diverse range of ambitious and engaging projects, artistic or otherwise. At the time of this work, Window was run by Nicola Verdon, Victoria Wynne-Jones and Tim Wagg.
