Fran Wilde Walk signage Wellington City Council with Athfield Architects Based on the glass information signs throughout the central city, the Fran Wilde Walk comprises two 5.5m signs, working at several levels of information on each side. Located on the concourse leading to the Westpac Stadium, this was a project between the Wellington City Council and the Stadium Trust. The signs are designed to be viewed at a distance and close up, by day and night. The walk identification and way-finding information sit high and large. They are robust, easy to maintain, and well lit. Below, the story, rendered typographically and with photographs of the Stadium and its history, works its way down to average person height, for more intimate reading. 2000s selected Athfield ArchitectsREANNZ Research & Education Advanced Network New Zealand The Oxygen Group 1990s selected/archived Creative New Zealand |
