Distance Markers Wellington City Council and the NZ Heart Foundation A series of cast-iron discs, inserted into the pavement along Wellingtonʼs waterfront, marking out distance over 6.5km. An initiative by the Heart Foundation to encourage patients to make a healthy recovery by walking: gently increasing distance, step by step. The markers are free of all other information, making them universal. 13 cast-iron markers, each 35cm diameter, placed at 500m intervals related links 2000s selected Athfield ArchitectsREANNZ Research & Education Advanced Network New Zealand The Oxygen Group 1990s selected/archived Creative New Zealand |
