Body, Mind, Somehow: The Text Art of Catherine Griffiths
by Gregory O’Brien

Art New Zealand, May 2014, issue #150

The 150th aniversary issue of Art New Zealand features a ‘lovely meditation’ (to quote Carole Anne Meehan, manager of Auckland City Council’s Public Art Team) by Gregory O’Brien, poet, writer and artist, with photographs by Bruce Connew, Simon Devitt, Paul McCredie, and David Read. Projects include public and private text-based installations from the Wellington Writers Walk to AEIOU, A Hillside Intervention to memento :: motif, and the fine books of Bruce Connew.

Available only in hard-copy, Art New Zealand can be purchased from bookshops, found in galleries and on friends’s coffee tables or bookshelves, or online via Zinio.
