client: Auckland Council Public Art Team, and Parks and Recreation

New Zealand

In 2014, following a call for expressions of interest by the Auckland Council Public Art Team, I joined one of the four shortlisted to submit a proposal for an artist-led redesign of a reserve. My design for the pocket-shaped park was selected, and subsequently developed with the Parks Team and built by Decker Landscapes. Opened by the local on May 30 2016, the park opens to the public.
